Testimony of Srdjan Vorotovic
My name is Srdjan Vorotovic. I have been a believer since 2003.
I served in the “Brethren” church in Podgorica, Montenegro, under the leadership of the missionary and church leader Vladimir Cizmanski. I was involved in various activities, including sharing the Word of God.
In 2005, I felt called to serve the Lord full-time. I spoke about it with Vladimir, who asked me where I would like to serve the Lord. I answered, “Kotor.”
At that time, I was a young believer. My heart became especially drawn to Kotor after I served as a volunteer on the Logos ship. Later, I occasionally attended the prayer meetings of the group in Kotor. Unfortunately, the community eventually dissolved because its members moved to other places.
In 2020, my conviction to serve the Lord full-time grew stronger. When I spoke about it with Elder Vladimir, he suggested that I go to Kotor on weekends to serve alongside a missionary couple who were living there and see how things would develop.
We began visiting them once or twice a month. This was during the coronavirus pandemic and the lockdowns. We had to be strategic about our travel because, on most weekends, travelling from one city to another was not permitted.
While there, we held Bible studies with adults and ran a children’s club.
The Lord opened the doors, and eventually, at the end of 2021, with the blessing of the “Brethren” church in Podgorica, we moved to Kotor.
