In the city of Prizren, in Kosovo, Brother Bardhyl Morina operates with his wife Izete and their two children.

Converted from Islam to the Lord, for several years this couple has been operating in a particularly difficult context. The population, in fact, is 95% Muslim and lives in a socially disastrous situation, compounded by persistent tensions with neighboring Serbia.
The witness service of this family began with meetings in their own home, where they hosted various gatherings for adults and children; over time, this produced opposition from neighbors, also dictated by the radical context of that country.
Since 2019, the small community has been gathering in a public facility in this city. It is a light in a place where numerous mosques are present and where Islamic fundamentalism is significant, fueled in part by Turkish pressure which exerts a strong influence here.
This family, together with the other believers who make up the small church, is particularly engaged in evangelization in several villages and they are a reason for praise and thanksgiving to the Lord for the light they are able to radiate in a very difficult context.Brother Bardhyl and his family lead an intense recovery service for children prone to dropping out of school, and literacy programs especially among the Roma.
The service of Izete, Bardhyl’s wife, among the women in the villages is precious. Some of them, already believers, are unable to be baptized because they are harassed and hindered in their faith by their Muslim husbands and family members.
Trials are not lacking and are accompanied by a great spiritual pressure, sometimes of conflict, but so far the Lord has sustained this couple and blessed the immense amount of work being carried out.
The difficult context, sometimes involving reports and threats, widespread poverty, and the spiritual, psychological, and economic needs of people who often live in disastrous family conditions; the work among children and women, car trips, church care, evangelization in squares and villages, and hospital visits are some of the services that rest solely on the Morina family.
All of this arouses a feeling of gratitude for how the Lord has so far sustained this family in service, but also a greater awareness of a greater and necessary involvement of everyone in the work of the Lord.
